翅片管从结构型式上翅片管可分为纵向和径向两种基本类型,其他型式均为这两类的开展和变形,例如大螺旋角翅片管挨近纵向,小螺旋角翅片管挨近径向翅片的形状有圆形、矩形和针形。此外,翅片可设置在管外,称外翅片管;也可设置在管内,称内翅片管或内外兼有。翅片管在进行使用有很多的种类,这样的产品在市场上也不断的涌现其新的品种,翅片管在干燥设备的运行中的作用是给热空气加热物料,这样就使得物料中的水分会蒸发,然后在进行循环干燥的时候,因为存在着较高的温度的空气已经接近了饱和状态,所以翅片管中高温高湿的空气已经不能将物料中的水分带走,所以材料中的水分开始停止蒸发,继续操作会对其产生不利的影响,需要排除这种做法。

翅片管通常情况下会有其镶嵌式、套片式、绕片式、或串片式等三种类型。绕片式翅片管制作简略,把金属带用机械或焊接方法周定于管子一端,借管子转动力矩将金属带紧紧地缠绕于管外壁,另一端固定即成绕片式翅片管。绕片的资料可以是铜带、钢带或者铝带。

如果是材料的含水量较高的话,就会在很短的时间内就会造成外界热空气的较为饱和的状态,如果一般都采用的全新风进行干燥,就是指翅片管的翅片在进行加热之后,把达到温度的热空气在送进干燥器里,同时再→另外一段排出,在隧道式烘道内,热空气的流向与物料的流量相逆流。
