翅片管又称扩展表面管,可以有壳体也可以没有,翅片管是在原有的管子表面上,不论外表面还是内表面加工上了很多翅片,使原有的表面得到扩展,而形成一种独特的传热元件。翅片管在动力、化工、制冷等工业中有广泛的应用,主要应用于空气冷却器,能减轻工业缺水及工业用水的环境污染问题,传热强化方面使得低肋螺纹管及微细肋管等在蒸发、冷凝方面的相变换热得到广泛应用。由多支翅片管按一定规律排列起来而组成的换热单元叫翅片管束。一个翅片管换热器可以由一个或多个翅片管束组成,对翅片管束了解有助于翅片管换热器的应用。
